The Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Community Safety Partnership
The Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Community Safety Partnership is a multi-disciplinary group of academicians, practitioners, and community advocates who meet quarterly at The Center for Community Safety (CCS) to utilize a data-driven, problem-solving framework to address violent crime and other community safety issues impacting the neighborhoods of Forsyth County. CCS provides oversight, administrative support, and serves as the communication hub for the community-based partnership. Once data is analyzed and factors are identified as driving the root causes of crime, the Partnership identifies opportunities for intervention, prevention, and suppression.
